Safe Home Project
Project implementation period: May 1, 2021 - December 31, 2023
The project is co-financed by the "Internal Affairs" Programme implemented under the Norwegian Funds for 2014-2021. The programme is at the disposal of the Minister of Interior and Administration.
The "Safe Home" project is implemented by:
The Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights in partnership with the Halina Nieć Legal Aid Center and the UNHCR representative office in Poland.
The project cosists in provision of free legal assistance to persons applying for international protection, either on-site, via means of distance communication and during missions to centers for foreigners.
Aditionally, the project cosists in other activities such as: conducting trainings for employees of government and local government administration agents who have direct contact with migrants, organizing events to strengthen cooperation between non-governmental and international organizations and public administration, publications and maintaining a website addressed to foreigners.
